This book is a gem. Sam Loyd was THE puzzle king at the turn of the century and this book contains 120 of his puzzles for kids. It was published in 1912 and I had to pay $200 for the copy I scanned in - it is quite uncommon.

The pictures are each in color and a full page. They print well on a regular printer or a color one. Warning: Various races and nationalities are depicted in several of these pages in accordance with the stereotypes of the times. If such things upset you, do not download this book.

These puzzles are tricky and fun. I don't know a good age range for these puzzles, check out the samples below and judge for yourself.
